The Babbling Toad

Hush, and listen above the musings of the loud and proud.

Who's that girl just walk walk walk in the club

Out of boredom, I spent my last 3 nights re-watching one of my favourite taiwanese series, eh no, I should say its my favourite taiwanese drama of the year 2010 - 就想賴著妳, starring Jerry Yan and Ella from SHE.

Its actually quite ridiculous when I think about the amount of times I've watched it, but that really is how much I love it ! I've always been a fan of taiwanese dramas - though not much favoured amongst my friends - because I find their love stories exceptionally sweet, amusing and stupid ! And its the stupidity that I actually enjoy - very chilled and relaxed when I watch them! And most of the time the main actor and actress are handsome men and pretty ladies, so why not?! ;))

I even found myself smiling to myself at work yesterday, half-way packing blister packs, half-way thinking about the story plot, how the two quarreled initially, then fell in love, then couldn't be together etc etc etc. Mundane storyline I know, but I just like watching it!

Today is Australia Day - public holiday! Never knew there is such a public holiday at this time of year, but it came with an extra stress - I now officially have one and a half day to complete my blister pack preparation for the following odd 3 weeks. And just when I thought I'm almost done with it, I get calls from doctors telling me they want pack changes - and so, poor me, I have to reopen their sealed packs, make the appropriate changes, wait for the pharmacist to check at them, and then seal them back again. Haih, so is life isn't it.

2 more sleeps at my home in Hobart, one sleep in the plane, then I'll be home sweet home ! Though the excitement of CNY and the wedding swifts through my brain, just like what adrenaline does to your heart, I do feel a bit heavy-hearted. A few of my favourite people in the world won't be going home. Baboon and Wei Wei will be staying in Hobart, Sim will be staying in Adelaide, and my princie will be in Singapore, and Sharon and Kok Fung will be in Brisbane and Perth respectively - haih, so is life. But at least I get to reunite with my gang members - which I haven't in ONE year already! Though from a big gang, we dwindled down to only 8 or 9 of us only this year. So is life, so is life.

Ahaha. I think I sound like an old lady.

I was supposed to be going to zumba as early as 7:30 am this morning, but lazy bone struck last night and I decided I want to sleep in this very holiday, but guess what, my eyes were wide open at 6:30 am! And I got straight out of bed to download shows and watch youtube :))

Hmm. I wonder if shops are open today? Maybe its a good day for shopping huh?

Tata! Hopefully the next time I write in this space, I will be home!
