The Babbling Toad

Hush, and listen above the musings of the loud and proud.

Christmas is over

So okay.

The four days of Christmas break is gone. Eric is gone. Two more days at work and then 3 more days of holidays.

One more day to the arrival of my kuching monkeys and two more days to counting down to the new year of 2011.

Twenty eleven. Twenty eleven. Twenty eleven. Twenty eleven. Twenty eleven. Twenty eleven.

Twenty ten went past quick enough didn't it. A while ago I was still at home, doing my volunteer placements at our local hospital, a while ago I came back to Tassie as a fourth year student, and a while later, I'm already working my butt off and facing the real people, real world.

I have yet to have the time to properly settle down and think about my new year resolutions. Not that I follow my resolutions at all - oh wait. I don't think I even set them. Heee. But I just felt like sitting down and thinking through the year. Now that I have a much bigger room, and I get to organise things my way, I tend to enjoy my own quiet moments in the room. Things that I haven't done for ages - opening the window blinds first thing upon waking up, playing songs whilst I do my own chores like folding the washing and ironing my uniform.

Christmas was quiet, but thank God for friends like them! I wasn't lonely, and it was good fun sticking with you for 4 days in a row Wei Wei!
